The Arizona Department of Real Estate insists I declare on social media, text messages and e-mails that I am a licensed agent. I guess this blog counts too--though I use a pseudonym and I have three readers. But in the event I ever accidentally discuss the Arizona Real Estate market, home prices and/or anything else that might imply agency on this blog, you need to know: I'm a licensed real estate agent in the State of Arizona.

You know, with the condition of the current job market, one would think people who have jobs would work extra hard in order to keep them but I think it's actually going in the reverse! My daughter and son-in-law put in a new kitchen complete with antiqued custom cabinets with large moldings and granite (1 piece) slab counter tops. BEAUTIFUL! Or at least it is now 6 months after the initial install date because that's how long it took "big orange" to get her the cabinets she actually ordered and then they installed the cabinet doors backwards and put the hardware on crooked! EVERYTHING had to be ripped out and done over. She couldn't cook thanksgiving or Christmas dinner (or any other dinner for that matter). It was a complete and utter disaster. It's not terrorists that will ruin this country - it's incompetence.
And yet hard working, competent people are out of work because the job market is saturated with lazy, imcompetent people...
