So...

This is what unemployment looks like...

So far the only revelation I have had is that unemployment hasn't really opened up much in the way of additional spare time. I had wild fantasies of spring cleaning, watching baseball and sleeping in.

I haven't cleaned out my closets yet. Or reorganized my cabinets. I have gone down to Tucson, once again reaffirming my belief that Marty Sunshine was adopted. I have done this and that, but not in the slow, leisurely pace I was dreaming of.

I am hoping to take the next few days and sleep in, take care of some real estate, yell at Kirby and Mario and clean out my closets--and maybe, if I dare to dream, even watch more than two innings of baseball.

Then I will figure out what my next adventure might be.

Undercapitalized or Not

I might be willing to consider, that possibly, maybe, perhaps there might be a slight chance I am burning the candle at both ends. Possibly.

Undercapitalized issues be damned! I gave my notice at Y'all yesterday.

Update

This is Crazy Week at my Y'all job (Crazy Week is the week where I drive 45 minutes one way downtown to train other people to be fabulous at thier job--as opposed to the weeks where I just roll out of bed, grab some iced tea and sit in front of my computer and make reservations). And, just to completely erase any semblance of free time, I also have two buyers closing. So, I am not expecting to spend much time contemplating my accidental business in the next five days--unless the people in Bama make me. And here's praying they don't.
But, for those of you playing along with the home edition of Sage Business, I did want to send a quick update about Ms. Kathy. She came to the conclusion that paying up was better than being homeless. She was even so charitable as to thank me for working with her. I wasn't really "working with her," per se. I was just dealing with enough other things to shove Ms. Kathy a bit lower on the to-do list.

Fortunately, there isn't much nuttiness to chat about today--and let's just keep it that way, shall we?

Time to Go

Marty Sunshine seems to think I need to go to Birmingham to check things out. His reasoning includes, but isn't limited to, the teensey tiny little fact that I have managed to avoid going for more than one year.

I suggested he go. He explained he has that whole pay check thing going for him and couldn't get away.

I also suggested Mr. Partner go. Marty reminded me that I was already not on speaking terms with Mario, property manager number 2, and Mr. Partner probably wouldn't help relations much. Besides, I would also be doing errands that are not related to the LLC we have with Mr. Partner.

Though I have no idea when I am going to find time to do this, I am pleased to say there isn't any major pressing issues to handle in Birmingham--which brings up why I should have to go at all. However, I can probably come up with a list of errands if I tried real hard.

I guess I should try real hard.
